Stay calm. Remain seated. New journal entries are on the way!
But until then, here are some of recent entries, swiped from
another blog on some obscure
website you've probably never heard of.

blog on the tracks
ahh, the perils of not saving your blog. i posted it...i know i did.
anyway, clay and i have had about a week without playing, which enabled us to
catch up with some friends and and go out to see some live music. tuesday we
made our way down to plush to catch serpe's cd release party. crazy DADGAD
tunings what i call "serpisms" = good night out. and, by all accounts, the man
has an intense affinity for gin...
the next night, i caught one of al perry's plush lounge sets. always a treat.
the man stands and delivers, whether being watched and listened to by those who
appreciate, or ignored by the inevitable drunken "talkers". either way, it's a
good night when he's playing in tucson.
well, here comes another congress show. leila lopez, campo bravo, and clay and
me. this is our first time playing with campo bravo, but we've caught several of
their shows and it's always a good time. and while we haven't heard leila, we've
heard much about her. so we hope to see all you good folks out tomorrow
night...cheers,
w/e

ahhh, to play congress...and hear mary gauthier...for free. we
had a good time last night, and thanks to those who came out to see the show.
it's been a busy week or so for us...it's a grind, epic, vaudeville, congress.
thanks again, all...
for those of you wondering about the second bearded edition to the stage, esta
(on pedal steel) just played his second show with us and while we hope to play
many more with him, he's going to italy for a bit, so catch him while you can...
anyway, hope to see a bunch at the congress show tomorrow night-it's a full
line-up...being a newcomer to town, i'm looking forward to hearing a lot of
these people i've only heard of but never actually heard - tom walbank, amy
rude, little sisters of the poor. in the words of esta, should be tasty...
see you sometime,
w/e

first off, this is my first time "blogging" anything,
ever. so, if i broach bloggers etiquette, have a heart, please.
anyway, welcome. clay and i both will be posting here from time to time, and
sash will certainly be keeping everybody up to date with news on shows and new
music to be released.
we have a pretty busy weekend coming up, and can't wait to see some of the
familiar faces we've gotten to know. and a big thanks to the "regulars", the
people we see show after show. being 3 months old to town, we appreciate the
kindness you've given us new kids.
but i'm getting off-topic...thanks for checking in on us
